Over the past few days, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to spend quality time with my children and extended family—people I don’t see nearly often enough. This experience filled my heart with an overwhelming sense of gratitude. It reminded me of the incredible individuals in my life and the precious moments we share together.

Gratitude is more than just a fleeting feeling; it’s a powerful practice that can significantly impact our daily lives. When we find ourselves in a rut, feeling unfulfilled or overwhelmed, I strongly suggest starting each day by reflecting on what we are grateful for.

In my leadership team, we have adopted a simple yet transformative morning ritual. Every day, we send a text to each other sharing one thing we are grateful for and our focus for the day ahead. This practice allows us to reset, reframe our thinking, and set intentional goals. It’s amazing how this small gesture can lead to a purposeful day.

We’ve discovered that when we don’t take this moment for gratitude, our days tend to get chaotic, and we often overlook the beauty of sharing our blessings. By making gratitude a priority, we cultivate a more positive atmosphere within our team and in our personal lives.

So, if you’re ever feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, consider implementing a gratitude practice. It could be as simple as a morning text or a quiet moment of reflection. You might be surprised at how it fills your “bucket” and transforms your perspective.

Let’s embrace gratitude daily—not just as a fleeting thought but as a way of living. It can change how we interact with ourselves and those around us, creating a life filled with purpose and appreciation.
